Elizabeth Goebel started her official BSA Scouting journey on February 1, 2019 when the female Scouts were first were allowed to join Scouts BSA. However, her experiences with Scouting started long before 2019.
As a younger sibling to a Scout, she tagged along to many of her older brother's events, such as the Pinewood Derby, outings, hikes and camping trips.
She is a founding member of the all female Troop 2998 in Pleasanton, CA which now has upwards of 50 members. Elizabeth has served many leadership roles in her troop and in Cub Scout Pack 916, including Senior Patrol Leader, Instructor, interim Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and as a Den Chief to her younger brother's Cub Scout den.
Her Eagle Project was coordinating the planning and building of a mobile equipment rack for the Foothill High School Band Program to aid with the storage, transportation, and safe-keeping of percussion equipment.
Elizabeth is a 2022 graduate of Foothill High in Pleasanton, CA. She is looking forward to attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall as a freshman and will be majoring in Public Health.
